Check In at Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort

Travel tip: On check-in park your car close to Reception and leave your bags in the car. The resort is quite spread out and your villa may be quite a distance from Reception. There are buggys that you can call to transport you to and from the dining areas.

Check in was quick and efficient. I was attending a conference at the Resort and it was quite busy with all the delegates checking in at the same time but it was all handled well.

My Accommodation at Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort

Bedroom at Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort
One bedroom villa

I loved the one bedroom villa that I was assigned. It was on the top floor. I could easily park out the front of the villa. If I wanted to walk to the Reception and restaurants it was only a ten minute walk away. You could drive your car closer depending on the availability of parking.

Balcony – one bedroom top floor villa

I loved gazing out over the bush from my balcony, surrounded by stunning views and the soothing sounds of birdsong filling the air.

There were internal steps to climb up to the top floor. The lounge was an impressive size with TV, coffee table, desk, and lounge with side chair. The kitchenette had everything I needed for my stay.

The bathroom was large and well equipped with hair dryer and toiletries.

Cypress Lakes Bistro
Bistro

Breakfast was in the bistro. As I was on a conference this was the only dining venue I used. There were plenty of options available.

There is 1500 sqm of meeting, conference and event facilities. Our conference was run very smoothly for around 300 of us. The meals at lunch and on the final evening were excellent, catering well for vegetarians.

Facilities at Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort

There are plenty of facilities available. Unfortunately I did not have the time to experience them.

  • 18 hole Pro golf course
  • Country Club
  • 2 tennis courts
  • gym
  • Elysia Wellness Resort Spa
  • Bicycle rental
  • 2 Restaurants
  • 2 Bars
