Overview of Osborn House
George and Dinah Osborn built their palatial residence, “The Knoll” in 1892 in Jordan’s Crossing, now known as Bundanoon. They were early settlers to the area. The Knoll was opened to guests from the early 1900s till 1925, and its location on the edge of the Morton National Park drew visitors to the area.
In 2022, Osborn House reopened as a luxurious five-star boutique hotel after an extensive restoration led by Linda Boronkay, the former Design Director of Soho House.

Morton National Park is located 1.7 km from Osborn House.
A 7-minute walk from Bundanoon Railway Station or a 2-hour drive from Sydney will have you enjoying the delights of a staycation at Osborn House.
The Southern Highlands are well known for their cool-climate wineries, and they are only a short drive from the hotel. If you plan to visit the local wineries, ensure that you make cellar door reservations in advance.
The towns of Bundanoon, Moss Vale, Berrima, Robertson, Bowral and Mittagong are worth exploring, but make sure you allow yourselves a couple of days to enjoy all they have to offer.
Accommodation at Osborn House Bundanoon

Osborn House offers 15 luxurious suites in the original house and 7 self-contained cabins with outdoor bath and fireplace.

Vintage furnishings blend seamlessly with contemporary touches throughout the property. One of our favourite artists, Jai Vasicek, has hand-painted the walls of the original house and created several stunning pieces that bring colour and character to the reception and dining areas.
Our check-in was easy, and a glass of chilled wine was offered as we filled out paperwork.
Our room was perfect, and we loved the little touches, such as the bottle of Jai Vasicek Wine, still and sparkling water, and two little pastries that just melted in your mouth.
Complimentary tea such as English Breakfast, Mountain Green and Calming Chamomile were available with coffee.
The bathroom was well-appointed with luxury toiletries and the lovely touch of two make-up remover pads provided.
Our bed was so comfortable with luxury linen and firm pillows, just as we enjoy.
Dining at Osborn House
Dinner reservations are recommended for their Latin American Restaurant – Fire Kitchen.

After enjoying a cocktail at George’s Bar in front of the open fire, we headed in to Fire Kitchen for a wonderful dining experience, enjoying the best of local produce and beef dishes. The vegetarian options were tasty and nourishing.

The breakfast menu consists of fresh fruit, granola, pastries and a choice of a hot dish with tea or coffee.

Breakfast is between 7.30 am and 10.00 am.
Lunch from 12 pm to 3 pm.
Pre-dinner drinks from 5 pm
Dinner from 6 pm to 9 pm.
Wellness, Spa and Relaxation

During our stay, we did not have time to experience the Day Spa, but we did have a walk around and we were very impressed with the rooms, the facilities and the services on offer. We will definitely come back and enjoy this unique experience in the future.

The 25 metre indoor lap pool and jacuzzi, and the gymnasium are perfect for your daily workouts. There is also a steam room and sauna for your use.
There are some local walks available. Check with reception for details.
The tennis court is available all day, and mountain bikes are available to use. E-bikes are also available for a small fee.
