Getting to Queensland
Queensland has 3 international airports – Brisbane, Cairns and the Gold Coast.

Brisbane Airport
Domestic airlines that service Brisbane are Qantas, Jetstar, Virgin and Rex Airlines
Taxis are available from the Domestic Airport in front of the terminal building. Fares are between $45 – $60 depending on location and time of day. There is a $4 toll that will be added to the taxi fare.
The Airtrain is a quick and convenient way to get into the city. It takes 20 minutes and runs every 15 minutes.
To use this service you can purchase tickets at the Airtrain desks in each of the terminals, or at the Airtrain stations. Go Cards are also accepted on Airtrain services. For more information on GoCards, visit the Translink website.

From the Domestic Terminal: make your way out to the front of the building and take the Skywalk across to the station.

City Express Shuttle Bus: Skybus
The SkyBus Brisbane City Express operates airport transfers from Brisbane Airport to several stops in Brisbane City. The SkyBus is available at both the Domestic and International Terminals with regular departures throughout the day.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the sales kiosk at the Domestic Terminal. To book visit the SkyBus website.

Best Time to Visit Queensland
When visiting Queensland expect warm summers and mild winters. Far North Queensland experiences a wet season through the summer months from December through to March. Tropical storms and cyclones can be expected.
