Perth has a variety of areas suitable for travellers:

  • Perth CBD
  • Elizabeth Quay
  • West Perth
  • East Perth
  • Northbridge – one of our favourite areas
  • Burswood
  • Fremantle
  • Scarborough
  • Sorrento

Over the years we have stayed in Como, a riverside suburb, Hillarys Boat Harbour which is about 25 minutes from the Perth CBD, Northbridge and later this year we will spend a week in Sorrento where we will highlight the best of Sorrento in a specific article.

Where should I go for a week in Perth?

Our recommendation would be to spend a few nights in the CBD, then head to Fremantle for a couple of nights and then enjoy a relaxing beach break in Scarborough.

How many days should I spend in Perth?

If you can spend a week you will be able to cover all Perth attractions. The minimum we would recommend would be 3 nights.

If you enjoy visiting local pubs Perth has some of the best in Australia for you to enjoy a cold beer or a glass of great Australian wine.
