Oaks Pacific Blue Port Stephens

Hotel Review Oaks Pacific Blue Resort Port Stephens (Updated 2024)

Are you visiting the Port Stephens region of NSW soon? Port Stephens is a beautiful region to explore and only a couple of hours drive from Sydney – just perfect for a weekend getaway or a midweek break! Port Stephens was a favourite family destination when our boys were growing up – their favourites were the sand dunes and tobogganing, ours was the great range of restaurants.

We share with you our hotel review of the Oaks Pacific Blue Resort in Port Stephens.

We hope you can plan to stay at least 3 – 4 nights as there is so much to do in Port Stephens.

Whether you are a family travelling or a couples getaway there are so many things to see and do for everyone!

One of our favourite places to stay is the Oaks Pacific Blue Resort Salamander Bay. We love sitting on the balcony at sunset with a chilled glass of wine and relaxing after a day of sightseeing. You just can’t beat a good sunset, can you?

How was check-in?

Check-in was very COVID safe and quick. The resort is quite large and parking is available close to your accommodation. Some accommodations even have their own garages. A map is provided showing the one-way road around the complex and the location of your accommodation. A clear explanation was given by the staff on your location and the facilities available at the hotel. They also provided clear instructions on how to walk to the shopping centre which has a supermarket, fast food outlets, speciality shops as well as a petrol station.

“Good location. The shopping centre was just across the road. Very good facility. Every room had new air conditioning and there was a garage for parking. Especially my kids loved the swimming pool.”

Would we return?

Yes, definitely. It is a great resort for couples and just perfect for families with the variety of accommodation available. The resort has a high standard of cleanliness and has put COVID procedures in place which gives us peace of mind when booking again. Don’t forget to allow some time to enjoy the Oaks Pacific Blue Resort Day Spa!
